Brightness and color correction
BetterJPEG allows for brightness and color correction of JPEG images without recompression, avoiding loss of quality. The lossless brightness and color correction is done by adjusting so-called zero-frequency (DC) coefficients in a corresponding color component.
Adjust Brightness / Color Cast dialog
To correct color and/or brightness of an image click the Brightness/Color icon on the main toolbar or select the Edit->Brightness/Color item in the main menu or Brightness/Color item in the context menu. You can use the Ctrl+Shift+B combination as a shortcut for this command.
The Brightness / Color panel will appear, where you can adjust brightness and color with sliders.
Click OK to apply the changes.
